Climate change is the global phenomenon of climate transformation characterized by the changes in the usual climate of the planet (regarding temperature, precipitation, and wind) that are especially caused by human activities. As a result of unbalancing the weather of Earth, the sustainability of the planet’s ecosystems is under threat, as well as the future of humankind and the estability of the global economy. -Media, and more importantly its ability to reach the public and provide commentary, has been present ever since the existence of a town crier. The tradition of oration has evolved to broadsheet, books, radio, television, and now, to the digital age. With each incremental step, media has become more accessible to both the public as well as to people who wish to present a thought, message, or idea. It is the backbone of social growth, where everything works due to information, it is the media that brings all types of changes and make according to public opinion. It creates awareness deep in public. It has become complicated as a result of too much information being broadcast at once and some people lacking the ability to distinguish between real and false information. This causes confusion and a loss of faith in individuals. Because the media is still a tool for gathering information, we must demonstrate that it is a trustworthy and dependable source by serving as an example in distributing information.The power media information holds can be a great help in turning the publics attention to issues. In this case the issue we are regarding is the long-term problem that our planet has been dealing with for many years that was overlooked since it had little consequences and showed no signs of being severe and now becomes a big deal threat, the Climate Change. We will try and save the earth as well as proving that media can still be trustworthy. This issue needs solution. That's why our group, Delta, plans to create a washable facemask project as an alternative for disposable masks that are harmful for our environment. This project will be given free for students upon their enrollment in school. It is eco-friendly because students doesn't need to buy disposable masks and at the end of the day, throw it in trash, or sometimes, just anywhere. This facemask of ours is washable that's why it produces no waste. Maybe you're wondering how can we give facemask for free without enough funds. Well that's not a problem because we will also conduct a recycling event where we will get our budget for our project. This event will also helps students to transform their waste into usable materials. It also helps students to showcase their talents in designing and creativity in making things using recyclable materials. It may be a small solution for a big problem but this is a step closer to what we want. Help us restore our planet Earth.
